Northern College are launching a new programme of three day Management Qualifications for 2008/2009, starting with the Managing voluntary and community organisations, starting on 23rd – 25th June 2008.
These few days are not about in-depth study; rather they are an introduction to some key elements of Third Sector management:
- Status
- Legislation
- People
- Events
- Meetings
- Funding
If you are just about to embark upon a management role – or are thinking of doing so – or even if you’ve a bit of experience under your belt and you want to just check out where you are – this course is for you.
Course fees are £79*, which includes all food and accommodation. There are a limited number of non-residential places available at the same price.
This course stands alone as a productive learning experience. It also forms the first module of the Level 2 Certificate in Voluntary and Community Sector Management; for more experienced practitioners we are also offering the Level 3 Award in Voluntary and Community Sector Management (with an optional Social Enterprise extension) and – new for 2009 – a Level 3 Award in Managing Volunteers.
Please contact Louise Mycroft on l.mycroft@northern.ac.uk or 01226 776000 for details of our full programme and an application form.
